Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. 8.40am �9.10am watch the scheduled video documentary
show at the Sepilok Information building. The 20 minutes video show will give you
an insight of the Orang utan rehabilitation process and its threats to survival.
9.10am �10.30am proceed to Sepilok Forest Reserve, orphaned and injured orang utans
are brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return to forest life. Sepilok is
a primary lowland forest, a fine showcase of Borneo’s remaining rain forest.
Witness the feeding of Orang utan from a platform in the forest. 10.30am �12.45pm
continue your rainforest adventure to visit one of the nature trails and experience
a walk in the Bornean rainforest, see the diversity of plants, and observe the 30
�50 metres tall dipterocarp trees, more than 100 years old liana, the wild flowers
and fascinating insects. Sepilok has recorded more than 250 species of birds, good
chances of sighting macaques, leaf monkeys and other mammals. The reserve is a source
of seed material for the enrichment of other forested areas and remains a living
gene bank of resources. Then, transfer to Sandakan airport for your return flight
to Kota Kinabalu at MH2709 1415hrs.

After the excursion at Sepilok, proceed to Puh Jih Sih temple, situated on the hilltop
with a commanding view of Sandakan bay, built in 1987, this ornate temple is blazed
with red and gold, with writhing dragons and gold gilded Buddha. It is said that
the temple protects and brings prosperity to Sandakan community.
Then proceed downhill for your lunch at local restaurant. You drive downtown Sandakan
streets, at the market see the local produce such as vegetables, fruits, fish and
many others. Few minutes drive is the Sim Sim Water Village, this settlement was
established in 1879, here you can walk and see the houses on stilt occupied by the
local Chinese and Malays. Then, transfer to Sandakan airport for your return flight
to Kota Kinabalu at MH3044 ETD: 1915hrs

live by the river and active during late afternoon when they are socializing. Witness
the Proboscis monkey in their natural habitat when they come to feed for their supplementary
food. Transfer to Sandakan airport for your return flight to Kota Kinabalu at MH3044
ETD: 1915hrs.

many others. The Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best places in Southeast
Asia to observe wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Bukit Malapi Lodge.
Day 2 ~ Breakfast & Lunch After breakfast, 0730hrs depart to Gomantong cave
which takes about 30 minutes drive. Upon arrival, take a 15 minutes walk to the
cave, the short jungle walk will take you to the unique limestone vegetation and
lowland forest. Explore one of the fascinating caves in Sabah which is a home to
the millions of bats and swiflets. The swiflets are collected for the famous Chinese
edible bird’s nest soup. After exploring the cave, return to Sandakan and proceed
to visit Puj Jih Sih Chinese temple, located 300m above sea level. Here you can
see the colorful interior carvings and decoration of this magnificent temple with
a commanding view of Sandakan bay. Proceed for lunch at local restaurant. Drive
around Sandakan town and see the busy street and market. Then, drive to Sim Sim
water village where you can see houses on stilt occupied by the local Chinese and
Malay people. Onwards, transfer to Sandakan airport for your return flight to Kota
Kinabalu at MH3044 ETD 1915hrs.

Day 1 ~ Lunch & Dinner 0730hrs, Pick up from hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Transfer
to Kinabalu National Park. On the way, pass by small towns and villages until stop
by at Nabalu Fruit Market for a break. Upon arrival at Kinabalu National Park, have
a visit to the Exhibition Hall/Mountain Garden. Then, overland transfer to Sepilok
Forest Edge Resort in 3 to 4 Hours drive. En-route, lunch at local restaurant. Upon
arrival, check in and dinner at the resort. Overnight at Sepilok Forest Edge Resort.

restaurant before overland transfer to Kinabatangan Jungle Camp. Upon arrival at
the jetty, 15 minutes boat cruise to the camp. Then, check in and free at leisure.
Evening, boat cruise along the Kinabatangan River to search for wildlife such as

Day 1 ~ Lunch & Dinner 0730hrs, Pick up from hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Starts
the 2 hours journey to Kinabalu National Park. On the way, pass by small towns and
villages until stop by at Nabalu Fruit Market/Kundasang Market for a break. Upon
arrival at Kinabalu National Park, have a visit to the Exhibition Hall/Mountain
Garden. Depart to Poring Hot Spring in an hour drive. Lunch will be provided at
local restaurant. Upon arrival at Poring Hot Spring, take a refreshing dip of the
hot sulphur in indoor or outdoor tubs/take 45 minutes round trek to the famous Canopy
Walkway, 100 to 200 ft. above the forest floor. Check in at Round Inn, Poring and
free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Round Inn.
Day 2 ~ Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Breakfast at Round Inn before check out and
04 hours overland transfers to Kinabatangan Jungle Camp. Upon arrival at the jetty,
15 minutes boat cruise to the camp. Then, check in and lunch. Evening, boat cruise
along the Kinabatangan River to search for wildlife such as Proboscis Monkey, Borneo
